Co-Founder & Director

Courtney has a First-Class Honours Degree in Business Management and a PGCE in Secondary Business Studies Education with six years’ experience in the profession. Courtney is currently studying a MSc in Football Coaching and Analysis at UCFB (Ethiad Campus) Part-Time. On top of this she has the following training and experience in football coaching:

  • FA Level 2 in Football Coaching

  • FA Level 1 in Football First Aid

  • FA Level 1 in Football Safeguarding 

  • Coaching Transition Programme with the Women’s High Performance Football Centre

  • Acceptance onto the UEFA B Coaching Qualification 

  • Middlesbrough Women FC First Team Coach (National Level - Tier 3)

Her motivation for starting the business is her love of the game and ability as a coach. She has taught for six years now, but her coaching ventures have ignited her desire to coach football as her profession. She loves coaching voluntarily and it is her dream to own her own coaching business that is successful enough that it allows her to do it full-time. She decided to start the business now as she’s starting the UEFA B Licence in Football Coaching in the upcoming season, which will put her in a great position to have more of a presence in the footballing industry, allowing her to develop her skillset alongside growing the business.

Lauren has recently finished Post 16 education with a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport. Along with this course she completed the Community Sports Leadership Award (CSLA), which allowed her to start coaching football and other sports from a young age. Whilst studying her course Lauren was also playing football at a National Level which increased her love for the game and encouraged her to explore another aspect to football rather than only playing. Recently, she has completed the FA level 1 in Football Coaching, which allowed her to gain a better understanding of how to coach. She has also been accepted onto the FA level 2 in Coaching Football to further broaden her knowledge. Lauren has the following experience in Coaching:

Lauren’s motivation to help start up the business was her love, passion and dedication for football. She wants to be able to inspire the next generation of female footballers and hopefully develop future England players. Furthermore, she has played Football for over 10 years and has wanted to explore another aspect of Football. She thoroughly enjoys coaching voluntarily for Blyth Town FC, but it is her goal to have a successful football coaching business. After completing her Level 1 and starting her Level 2, she is aiming to keep on learning and progressing as a coach to develop her own skills and knowledge but to also develop our business and offer her players a higher standard of coaching.


Technical Director & GK Coach

Rebecca is a Technical Officer within the Manufacturing Department at Tharsus Limited; currently in her final year at The University of Sunderland studying towards a BEng in Manufacturing Engineering, after completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance. Rebecca began football coaching at the age of fifteen and has now been coaching at grassroots level for over eight years. Within that time, she has worked with both male and female players within the age range of 5-17 years old, across multiple different clubs. She has also worked in a professional set up as an Under 9 coach for the Girls Player Development Centre as part of the Newcastle United Foundation. During the time she has been coaching she has gained the following qualifications and experience:

  • The FA Emergency Aid

  • The FA Safeguarding Children

  • The FA Welfare Officer 

  • Women’s High Performance Centre – Coach Transition Programme

  • The FA Youth Award Module 1

  • The FA Youth Award Module 2

  • The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football

As a current participant within the female game, and having been so for eighteen years, Rebecca fully appreciates the need and value of football coaching, not just specifically aimed at young girls, but also delivered by female coaches. The success of the England Lionesses at the Women’s World Cup 2019 has had a massive influence on the number of female participants; especially in the North East of England. Develop Her Game, and Rebecca individually, aspires to inspire the next generation of International Footballers.


General Manager (Apprentice)

Jess is currently completing her NVQ Level 3 Leadership & Management apprenticeship with Develop Her Game (DHG) and has recently acquired her PRINCE2 Foundation certification in project management. Before starting her apprenticeship, Jess took Business, Economics and Maths for A-Levels, with her favourite subject being Business. At DHG, Jess helps manage the back end tasks such as emailing and managing the website. In her spare time she is studying for her PRINCE2 Practitioner certification and enjoys meeting up with friends.

Jess played for her school football team a few times and although not having much personal experience with football, Jess has learnt a lot a about the game and is keen to bridge the gap between the male and female game. 

Foundation Phase Lead (Ages 5-11)

Olivia has recently completed an Level 2 Community Sport Activator apprenticeship gaining a distinction grade at Tynemet College. Before this she completed a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Coaching and Fitness and gaining triple distinction star. Olivia began coaching football at the age of 17 and has now been coaching at grassroots level for over 5 years. During this time she has coached at North Shields Juniors creating an u10 girls team and continuing their journey to current u14s. Olivia has also had to the opportunity to coach North Tyneside Schools County District girls both u11 and u13 for the past 2 years, and during this time she has gained the following qualifications:


  • FA Level 1 in Football Coaching

  • FA Level 1 in First Aid 

  • FA Level 1 in Safeguarding Children

  • FA Level 1 Introduction to Scouting

  • FA Level 2 in Football Coaching 


Olivia has a huge passion for coaching football as it is something she thoroughly enjoys. She has played football from the age of 5 and still continues to do so playing for Blyth Town Ladies. Her love for the game has grew even more since she started coaching and it is something she wants to pursue as a career. Olivia is wishing to progress her coaching career further by completing UEFA B Coaching in the coming years.

Youth Development Phase Lead (Aged 12-16)

Lauren is currently studying a BA (Hons) in Sports Coaching at the University of Sunderland. She has 5 years experience within coaching in a variety age groups and playing level. From coaching she has gained:

  • FA Level 1 in Football Coaching

  • FA Level 1 in Emergency First Aid

  • FA Level 1 in Safeguard Training

  • FA Level 1 Referee

  • Acceptance onto FA Level 2 in Coaching Football


She has a huge love for the game and has gained knowledge through her 16 years experience of football. Lauren still plays competitively at National Level for Durham Women FC, which makes her a perfect role model for the girls. Her love for the game has led to her coaching pathway. She loves coaching, especially when the players have as much dedication and love for the game as she does. In the future, she wishes to continue coaching as a career. From this she hopes to gain more knowledge of the game and grow women’s and girls football. 

Professional Phase Lead (Ages 16+)

Tom is currently studying a BA (Hons) in Sports Development at Northumbria University. He has 3 years’ experience within coaching across various age groups and playing level. As well as this he has gained the following training and experience in football coaching:

  • FA level 2 in Football Coaching

  • FA Level 1 in Football First Aid

  • FA Level 1 in Football Safeguarding

  • Northumbria University Women’s high-performance football centre programme

  • Acceptance onto the UEFA B coaching qualification

  • Coach intern with Newcastle United Women FC

  • Northumbria University Second Team Manager

He has a massive passion and love for the game and has gained knowledge through 15 years of playing football for clubs in the North East. These include Newton Aycliffe, Spennymoor and Durham United. This led to getting involved in coaching and he loves coaching, helping players develop themselves as people and players. He has future aspirations to coach full time and to continue to gain more knowledge of the game enabling him to develop as further as a coach. 

Regional Lead Coach (North London)

Chloe has a degree in Psychology from the university of Hertfordshire. She has worked in grass roots football as a coach for 8 years, training players at a variety of ages and ability levels. In 2012 Chloe was selected to be a London Torch bearer during the Olympic Games for her voluntary work within sport. Chloe has played for a variety of clubs including Belmont United, Harvesters FC and Headstone Manor. Chloe currently plays for Sporting London Benfica as a left winger. Chloe currently coaches and manages the Girls Under 12 blue team for London Lions FC. Additionally she coaches over 4 teams at Lions and works in the community of North London promoting female participation in football.

Chloe is hugely passionate about making football accessible to all, guiding talented players into clubs and nurturing beginners to meet their individual potential. Chloe currently works as a Pastoral support Officer, looking after the well-being of secondary school students. Chloe’s coaching style incorporates building self esteem and improving well-being through the game.

Coach (Newcastle)

Alex is a FA Level 1 qualified coach currently coaching at Blyth Town Ladies as well as Kingston Park CAFC. He has three years experience at Grassroots level coaching after began coaching at the age of 15 at Kingston Park. During this time, he has took a team through from Under 7’s to current Under 10’s, with fellow coach Rebecca, as well as most recently becoming Manager of Blyth Town Ladies.

Alex began taking coaching seriously after an injury prevented him playing competitive league football at the age of 17. He aspires to transfer his playing knowledge to develop the technical and tactical understanding of the players with which he works, whilst also enhancing his own coaching abilities. Alex is aiming to complete the FA Level 2 in Football Coaching Qualification in the 2021/2022 season and would eventually like to complete the UEFA B Qualification. He is currently studying towards his A-Levels before deciding upon his future career move, whether that be University or an Apprenticeship.

Coach (Leeds, Wakefield & Yorkshire)

Gemma is a UEFA B qualified coach based in Leeds. Gemma has worked internationally for Arsenal and Juventus soccer schools with the purpose of developing female participation globally. As a current York RTC lead coach, Gemma's passion lies within foundation phase coaching and promoting a positive experience within physical activity. Gemma holds the following qualifications:

  • Level 2 FA First Aid

  • FA Safeguarding

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructing

  • Lifeguarding

Gemma currently works as an NCS Co-Ordinator, organising youth movements in Leeds to engage teenagers and develop their independent living skills. Gemma's coaching style focuses on individual excellence and inspiring a lifelong involvement within sport.
